That is exactly WHY we as fans should go all in on supporting the program's resurgence through NIL.

Everything else and everyone else has failed tremendously. We finally have the driver's seat. Let's go.
No offense but it’s hard to donate when everything in our daily lives is crazy expensive now thanks to certain people

I just don't think our big boosters give a damn. At least not like these boosters at other programs.

At any given time, most wealth, including wealth of the super rich, is tied up in assets other than cash. When the values of those other assets (stocks, bonds, real estate, etc.) decline, as they have this year (excluding commodities), extremely wealthy people can turn frugal (relatively speaking) just like the rest of us peons.

IOW, if the Federal Reserve actually maintains an inflation fighting stance and significantly reduces the size of its balance sheet, big boosters everywhere will soon give less of a damn about college football. When money gets tight, NIL values can decline like everything else; we'll have to wait and see if that happens, but it's possible.

We haven’t had a good offensive line in a long time. He was similarly ranked to Trey who was also a guard. We swung and miss. It sucks to see. No sugarcoating it here. Getting and developing big time recruits is what enables you to make the next step.

Or sign quality transfers. Why do you people keep ignoring that option?

Fans have been handing this University money for years and got nothing in return. Now is the worst time for people to be handing their hard earned money over to hand out to a 18 year old kid. Pruitt finally ended my time from handing over money. Been doing it since 81. So before anybody tries to blame the fans lets see how much money these same people have been investing for years. The country is falling a part and the last thing I am going to do is hand money over for it to be given to some kid to play a game. Id rather make sure a veteran or elderly has food to eat.
Exactly. And before people say its only $60 a year. Or 120 a year or whatever the minimum donation is per month. You know what I could do with $60, take my parents out to eat twice at a place we like to go. Buy clothes or other things for my little nephew. Hell its a tank of gas now days. I could get a ticket to one of the lesser games on the schedule with that money. There are way more practical uses for me to hang on to that $60 than give it to some college kid that doesnt know me from Adam.
Schools who are raking in the money should be the ones responsible for funding NIL. Thats one thing I do like about pro sports, yes fans buy tickets, merchandise etc but the players contracts come from the revenue the sport produces or from the owners pockets. Fans arent asked to directly pay contracts like colleges are trying to do.
Lastly, I dont blame big donors for checking out, 1.Like @LA Vol has mentioned time and time again TN donors have been asked over and over to give with no return eventually those people will check out. 2. Big time donors give to schools because they get a tax break, NIL doesnt provide anything like that for the donors, so where does it make sense to give?

It's like anything else. If $60 is that huge of an amount for you, you should probably keep it.

Knock yourself out and donate. I will not fault anybody that does it. Maybe when they start winning some of these recruiting battles people will change their minds. Like one other poster said ,@TheMookieMonster "I appreciate what you are doing but even a few thousand more members of Spyre is going to make 0 difference with the big fish. Recruitments like that are decided by billionaire investors like Ruiz and so far there are no indications that any of our billionaires really care about restoring the program. "

Its going to take boosters with millions to make a difference.

Nobody is making you guys give it’s just if we lose out on a big recruit due to a bidding war don’t come on here and blame the coaching staff or university is that fair?
