That's ridiculous. So, when the SEC has 16 to 20 teams, you want no divisions and no SEC championship game. Have you been hitting the bottle with Johnny?Things are swiftly moving to a Power 4 conference setup. These conferences need to set aside the need for divisions and let the 2 teams with the best records play for the championship. Your 4 conference championship winners are in the playoffs. What about the rest of college football not in the Power 4? Who cares?

The Big 10 is now talking about adding an additional 6 PAC-12 teams on top of the addition of UCLA and USC.
Just because they didn't spend $4M on an offensive lineman doesn't mean they couldn't have if they wanted to.
I'd rather the SEC form a partnership with the ACC than raid them. Let the ACC stay intact. Hell, encourage them to try and grow to the same size as us. And as part of the schedule, every SEC team face an ACC team every year. Maybe two. I wouldn't mind a schedule of 9 SEC games, 2 ACC opponents, then whoever for that last spot. It would enhance competition."ACC, Pac-12 discuss 'loose partnership' that could include 'championship game' in Las Vegas" ACC, Pac-12 discuss 'loose partnership' that could include 'championship game' in Las Vegas

Win some, lose some. It's always been that way in recruiting. Not every player feels UT is right for them, and not every player is right for UT. In this new world of NIL, every player has a value, and that value isn't the same from program to program. There are a lot of targets left.
