Finding Gavin Newsom's moaning over UCLA very weird. He's crying foul that the UC system didn't vote on UCLA athletics being allowed to move to the Big Ten and even the UC system folks are saying that athletics decisions are sole privilege and responsibility of the campuses. He's demanding explanation from UCLA AD for how this move is supposed to help student athletes, not only at UCLA but also at other UC system and Pac 12 schools like Cal-Berkeley and is suggesting UCLA pay a fee and possibly split Big10 profits with Cal because Cal will now be hurting from lost Pac 12 revenue...

Of course Stanford and USC are private schools, which is the justification for why he's not bringing them into the discussion.

But he wants to monetarily punish a public state school for making an athletics decision that the AD proved will increase athletic department revenue and offer more NIL opportunities for athletes and allow them to keep all their Olympics sports AND give them a surplus to invest in new facilities for all sports... and Newsom is mad that Cal is going to be hurting... and he's not even a Cal grad.

I know for a fact Cal and UCLA aren't the only schools hurting. Stanford did or tried to terminate a few Olympic sport programs recently. Their wrestling program managed to raise an endownment to save the sport there. Not sure other sports were as successful.

Isn't that basically a replacement for "bulletproof coffee" or some type of "keto" style high fat coffee?

Been seeing odd replacements like that.
It's prolly fake "mayo" full of cheap smelly oil.

He was trying to get a picture of his watch on the internet. 🙄

Fighting isn’t good for sports (excl ufc/boxing). That’s why it’s virtually outlawed in hockey, obsolete in the NBA, baseball rarely, and non-existence in football. Nobody wants to see that crap. people want to see offense across the board in sports (ftball, bball, soccer, hockey, baseb). That’s why we have all of these rule changes, some of the rules are ludicrous, but that’s the con of having offensive driven sports now. Protect the superstars.
Plenty of people love great defense it’s just not what the media likes to promote but the idea that people don’t like great defense is pure BS. Defense still wins championships in football. The SEC is still a line of scrimmage league. I enjoy defense and offense, and in this league you better do both at least good. I think most people that truly love football enjoy a great 24-20 game just as much as a 41-38. If you have to score 40 to win every game your probably not winning the sec. Just look at the scoring def allowed by the last 10 sec champs. I think the highest average was 21 and another one 19. After that between 11 and 16 point averages.

I totally agree. When Im talking offensively driven, I’m elluding to no 6-3 or 10-7 or 13-6 ball games. Now whatever reason, the big 12 has gone to the extreme and produced the unwatchable 56-52 or 63-62 gamess

I didnt think I could hate Kentucky anymore. I mean, they’re losers anyway. But by golly, here we are…
Man im right there with ya. I just do not understand the UK hype. Levis throws 13 picks, has 2 or 3 real good games out of 13 and the whole college football world is acting like he is the greatest QB we have ever seen.

I also can’t stand that Vince Marrow guy. Man is 60 yrs old out here tweeting like a teenager every single day.
