There are few things I hate more than the term "natty"

I guess my Mt. Everest of nightmare sentences would be "The Kardashians ask for your thoughts and prayers as the Gators have just won the natty."

You could imagine them praying to Nietzsche or Darwin to make it less troublesome.

Since most land has been gained through conquest, just about all land has been "stolen" at some point.

But we did do them dirty on the Trail of Tears. Andrew Jackson was a ruthless, Native American hating bastard.

This book is very informative about the southwest tribes and the Mexican, Native and US conflicts.

Yeah, I've seen so many non-sports fans friends of mine chiming in with their takes lately because of the "woke" media trying to turn this story about someone attempting to illegally smuggle weed into a discussion about pay gaps between the NBA and WNBA.

Like if she wasn't a "celebrity" not a person would be even talking about it. Why isn't "do the crime, do the time" applied to people with some fame like it is the rest of the world...

I agree though, the WNBA product is just bad, and the college game has gotten worse too. Like what used to make women's basketball enjoyable is now being stripped away...and unfortunately a faster paced athletic style of play only works if you actually have really impressive athletic players. Women's basketball doesn't. Hell most HS boys basketball teams don't, the NBA is a bad measuring stick because they are the elite of the elite.

I miss good team defense, strong fundamentals, quality shooting, set plays and intelligent coaching...and the officiating is absolutely atrocious at all levels, but even more so in the women's college game now.
My understanding is it came from her playing overseas during the offseason to complement her wnba salary. She makes about $1mm, while the WNBA caps salaries at $270k. Can't blame her grind and want to make more money. Much respect.

But bringing in anything at all, especially at that time, was awfully stupid. That said, let's be real, this isn't a common situation and in no way is being dealt with as such. It's a couple freakin hash carts ffs. But this is Putin being Putin.

HH could throw 50 TDs with 3 INTs and still not win the Heisman unless we won 11+ games.

Sadly it's far less about how good you actually are, in and of yourself, and just as much about how your team did...and HH has exactly zero control over the defense, nor is surrounded by many studs at all on offense.

Simply because he won't be surrounded by 25 5*s he'll be docked. But yet some average Bama QB could win it by merely existing.

It's silly.

Agree. In his scenario we'd have to be a one-loss team heading into Athens and upset Georgia.

If he throws 50 TD’s and 3 INT’s we just might be 11-1.

Yeah, I don’t remember the last Heisman that went to an 8-4 team.

We had 40 TDs last year and only 3 INTs last year combined across the 2 QBs and still lost 6.

I get there is some circularity and sure, the better his stats, the better our team would be. But I have a hard time seeing our defense being there yet. Just look at Purdue or UK games. Our offense can be lights out and still be on the ropes and lose half the time.

Need to see, at least, a 2019 LSU type defense... quite good, not elite, defense, to go with this offense to imagine 11-1. Maybe in a couple years...the way we're recruiting.
