I think if we won 10 regular season games the city of knoxville would have a permanent smile on its face.

I recall most fans being very critical of Fulmer in the mid 90s. If only we could have that back

I don’t blame vol fans at all or being upset with the current state under butch or with Dooley. I think my biggest gripe was over the petition to hire Pearl. That was an awful look for our program. I’m just worried that people are so in love with Gruden that I think anyone other than him is gonna be automatically in a hole just bc their name isn’t Gruden.

I also think Currie is in that same boat right now. He wasn’t Blackburn or Fulmer (the fan favorites) and he has don’t nothing but great things so far. He brought back the LVs, Execured a baseball search beautifully that looks like he made a great hire. He (and Bev) stopped a lot of out sourcing that should’ve never been thought about. And people are already calling for his head bc he hasn’t fired butch yet. So have people really given him a fair chance?

Fans don’t have faith in our AD because since Dickey left, it’s been a s**tshow. Gross negligence. Just look at Hamilton and Hart. Explain what they did that warrants trust in the AD to make a good hire?

FTR, I give Currie the benefit of the doubt. He has done good things so far. But I am in a wait and see mode. His Football hire will be telling of his tenure.

Socia Media makes things 100x worse I’ll abree with that. It makes the minority seem like a majority.

No other fanbase would keep filling a stadium like we have. The AD has no room to complain and is lucky to have a fanbase that still cares so much about a subpar product that has been mismanaged for over a decade.

- Credit on LVs.
- Hard to say anything about the baseball coach, he hasn't even coached a game yet.
- Rightly or wrongly, no one outside the university is ever going to care about the outsourcing thing or know if hit was the right decision.
- Currie is not above criticism for his handling of this coaching transition so far. However, I said I would withhold judgment until a hire was made, so I'm willing to just say "pending" on this one.

Players rally to send Butch out on a high note . Win 2 of 3.

New coach named . We all go WOW! Recruiting gets a shot in the arm.

Yea , fans should be thankful we even have TN football to spend our money on. We shouldnt be upset that that we continually show up and pay out the nose yet we continually have a shoddy program.

If you want to latch onto fan behavior on social media that could actually negatively impact recruiting, a one time failed hashtag campaign is not it.

The AD seems to think that reducing the number of seats for more fancy luxury boxes will solve this problem.

Agreed but it's a vocal minority that make us all look bad. Urging fans to stay home and expecting less than 60k to show up is a bad look on social media.

They are playing hard but I just find it very telling they aren't mentioning him at all.
