I have been saying this for a while. Look at our LBs - they have no muscle tone at all. Warrior, Fils-Aime, Kongbo are ripped, but it is hard to come up with too many others.

I also think Currie is in that same boat right now. He wasn’t Blackburn or Fulmer (the fan favorites) and he has don’t nothing but great things so far. He brought back the LVs, Execured a baseball search beautifully that looks like he made a great hire. He (and Bev) stopped a lot of out sourcing that should’ve never been thought about. And people are already calling for his head bc he hasn’t fired butch yet. So have people really given him a fair chance?

Just a few are calling for their heads. Waiting to see who we get. If JG saids no and we did all we could then you can't help it. But go to the next one and get a good coach and then you will be judged on hindsight with actual results. It is the real world. Perform or get out. Appears he has done well so far in such little time but we will know for sure in the future. Time will tell.

Warrior was one of the most “put together” true freshman I’ve seen since I’ve been around. Reminded me of Eric berry’s Frame.

Everything has two sides of it. The previous ADs have completely dropped the ball I mean hell look at some of our past hires:

Todd Raleigh
Derek Dooley
Lane Kiffin
Don’t Tyndall
Dave Serrano

None of them worked out in the least bit. But I just want people to give Currie a chance because of the things that have been accomplished so far. Just because we are in the dark doesn’t mean nothing is happening.

Serrano should've been a home run. Tyndall could coach but the NCAA stuff should've been a red flag. Kiffin had potential but we all know how that worked out. Raleigh was meh and Dooley was absolutely indefensible. I agree though. A pretty pathetic list if you are looking at what matters most. Results.

I totally agree with this as you can probably tell with my last post. I also appreciate the info you bring and how you bring it. Very good discussion and DP should be taking notes. Judgements on Currie will be about two years down the road from now perhaps three.

Yeah, that's why I decided to lay off the Currie bashing, even though I strongly disagree with Currie keeping Butch around this long. I'm willing to wait and see if this all has a satisfying payoff (and no, I'm not Gruden or bust). He absolutely has to get it right, though.

Bituli looks like a tank and that's about it. Jumper's arms look like noodles and Sapp looks small although I think he's a quality player.

Meanwhile the Bamas, tOSUs, the Clemsons, the Penn States (who just exited from the freaking death penalty), the Wisconsins (really), and about 15 other programs consistently enjoy more success. And our fans shouldn’t be pissed off? Shouldn’t be delusional hoping that for once the AD doesn’t screw it up?

He was patient for a HC gig the first time around. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was patient this time around too. No idea what it is he is waiting for if he does wait though.

i thought I was the huckleberry to seeing us beat Florida but I was there last year so it ain't me. I was also at Georgia last year and GT this year. maybe I should go too. 🤔

GT is the only game I made it to this year. :(

I apologize the the players and fans. I have failed you. and so has unioncityvol.

80 percent of UT fans don't care about any of that. Here, you win football, you win the day. A small percentage of us really want a great basketball too. The rest is maybe window dressing.
