I am full on Debord! He was 53-11 in games he was an OC. I remember the Big 10 being extremely good back then, and 30 points was enough to win a game.

Another thing, when he was in Chicago he was coaching up Greg Olsen, who's a really good TE. In Seattle he was coaching up John Carlson who is also a good TE. Debord has more football knowledge in his left pinky toe than all of us do on VN. Butch would be an idiot to not call him a lot.

Last I heard the patriots were trying to hire DeBord as their game ball engineer. The story had a pic of him standing next to a tire inflation machine. TIFWIW

I think the guy had options.

The best thing about hiring DeBord is that they don't even have to retake this picture.

Just use the clone tool around Strip, mirror the image and paste him over Bajakian. Done.

It's hilarious to see them so "Butch is cutthroat and will do whatever it takes to win" when it comes to recruiting. He hires his guy, and it's like a morgue up in here. LOL

I'm ready to get this show on the road. Hopefully an announcement is made either tomorrow or Monday and we can start moving forward. And hopefully that announcement includes a little tidbit about Butch being more involved in the offensive playcalling.
