He played about 6 snaps until the 4th quarter and was buried on the depth chart coming into the game. Butch did not say he was the starter today but that he would continue to compete. Competition should be over. He's WR1

I think Scott learned that as that is exactly what he did in the second half. I'm surprised we didn't do that from the beginning. I guess he was trying to establish Dormady but it backfired as he and the receivers struggled early.

GT won't win their division.

I don't think their defense is good enough to win their division, but the Coastal is kinda down this season. Pitt and UNC look weak. GT and VT both have to play Clemson, so they both might have an auto loss there.

Miami probably looks like the favorite to win the coastal now, but they've gotta break in a new QB against FSU's defense, coming off a cancelled week two warmup game against Ark. State. So that will be tough for them.

I'd say if GT can beat one of Miami or VT, they'll have a decent chance of winning their division. They should be top 3 or tied for 2nd at worst.

That's what I'm wondering. Unless Dormady still looks terrible, throwing off his back foot, I wouldn't think JG can win the job no matter what. But our fans would be upset I bet. I bet Dormady looks great Saturday, he has always looked great against scrubs like this

I really think we should use JG the way UF used Tebow his freshman year with Leak. Leak was the starter but if it was 3rd and 4 or less, Tebow would come in.

Can we wait until the UF game before we damn the whole team? The defense is really our only major concern at this point. Shoop needs to get it fixed immediately. We are about to be 2-0, and headed into the swamp. Florida has some players, but that team is a total mess. We have a real shot of being 3-0 if we can get the defense playing at a mediocre level. The east is up for grabs, no one has separated yet. UGA looks to be the best, but we will see how good they are this weekend against actual competition. If Shoop craps the bed in Florida pull the emergency cord. Until then, it's all guessing.
