This is how people end up saying "the coaches lied" to so and so.

What else can you infer from his post? He clearly believes he will be playing this weekend.

Why would he so strongly feel that way? Would it not stand to reason that the coaches have told him he would play?

I think JG now is a better passer than Tebow was as a freshman, that's all I was saying. He didn't win the Heisman that year. I guess I should have put the obligatory IMO at the beginning. Hopefully we'll know more about JG after Saturday. Is that better for you?

Why are you getting upset?

He's 18 and he's been a star his whole life. Probably just thinks he's gonna play. Who knows why 18 year olds think things?

Didn't travel to Atlanta. I wouldn't bet on him playing.

Lord, bless his heart with patience, so that he may learn to not always react in anger

Lord help him to quit provoking with his passive aggressive snarkiness. 😁 I wasn't mad, I was just bluntly telling you to buzz off in that particular instance. I am curious, and I know he is not a coach, but I want to know, does he think they do stupid drills, are they too soft on guys? etc etc..

Upset? Just defending my point. From what we've seen from JG mechanically and with the arm strength I think he's a better / more natural passer than Tebow was as a freshman. You don't think JG would be a better option than Dormady on 3rd and 3-4 with his threat to run? Just situational use of JG to get him involved and use his talents.

They could have done QD and the D a favor and ran the ball more in the first half, especially since it looked like he was nervous.

Used the run to set up the pass. I kept saying that the whole first half.

Byrd's a WR because that's where CBJ wants him. Some people think he'd be better on D and we could use him there. That's where he expected to play. But he practiced at WR today and that's probably where he'll stay. He seems to have been taken out of the punt returner group-- at least this afternoon. Callaway probably has that job locked down, but they're trying out some of the FR there.

I hope Callaway has the punt returning duties locked down. Housed one last year and I love getting UTs new weapon, more touches, anyway they can.

If you near as old as I am, you have seen lots of QBs have frustrating starts like that, and never recover.

We need to be a run first pass second offense this year IMO. Give Kelly 20-25 carries a game, Chandler 10-12. Easier said than done, but if we can consistently do this it'll do a ton for Dormady/Guarantano.

I'm not so sure JG is a better runner in short yardage situations tbh

All camp it was put out there that he isn't the scrambler people make him out to be and that QD's athleticism is underrated.

Haven't seen them both in a game situation yet, but just food for thought.

Found this very interesting. Draft guy I follow and respect his opinion.

10-4. Wasn't aware of that.
