Reparations for Slavery (California)

Well now hold on... even if you accepted forbearance, the principal amount remained unchanged, so when you sold, you still had that sitting there. Granted, you may have gained a little scratch between the freezing of interest on the principal and inflation, but over 8 months, I can't see that coming up to $37,000.
@LittleVol, can you help explain this? I'm curious about how you made $37k in 8 months doing this.

Here’s my problem with it. Same question I’ve always had. Why do we feel the need to pay for something that WE never took any part of? Why do some black people hold modern day white people accountable? Why is it that when an argument takes place between a black man and a White man, more times than not, he can’t be a “cracker” fast enough but lord forbid he retaliate with the N word? Seems to me that racism exist. Only it exists mostly in the very people that claim to fight against it. All that free money Biden gave away to lazy MFs that don’t want to work should be enough. No need to to try and buy Democratic votes with another “one” time payout of 150k that won’t make a bit of difference in the long run. All this will do is increase the amount of expensive rims and stereo systems in expensive cars and White people will still be racist crackers when the money is gone.

Seriously though how are they going to prove their ancestors was slaves? A full scale genealogy background check?

That’s probably what they have in mind. Get everyone to submit DNA samples, and then deny their claims. Gotta build up the DNA registries, and what better way to sucker people in to it.

All liberal whites must feel better now. That white guilt

So, essentially the way to fund this is, presumably, through tax increases. The only way to make it fair, in the true essence of a reparations plan, is for blacks to avoid paying any portion of those taxes that will go to fund this program. Imagine that, a “white tax”. I see a lawsuit going all the way to SCOTUS.

Heck..we are already there thru wealth distribution and welfare. The rabbit hole.
Safety nets are now life nets.

Those tricky Californians are up to their schemes again!! 😀
It looks like it may PASS here.
Of course it will serve as precedent for the rest of America to eventually follow.

Estimated $ 17 Trillion investment if it happens nationwide with every Black-American recieving 150k one time payment 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣✅🇺🇸
I'm Black...so yeah I support it obviously.

What say you Volnation? Is this beginning of a good thing??
What about Americans who claim Ancestry from Union Soldiers?? Don't they deserve something as well? Just a thought...
And where does all this $$$ come from? This has to be one of the utterly most ridiculous ideas to ever cross a Liberal's brain. God please make it stop......

Hopefully only one good earthquake away. Needs to happen soon to stop them from spreading.

While I think something needs to be done to compensate for centuries of race based mistreatment of black people in this country, I dont think direct cash payments are the way to go. Maybe scholarships or something like that.

Or we could just say "Tough sheeet. Slavery ended 165 years ago. Get the **** over it and move on".
