No it doesnt. No one isnt gay because because they arent getting the tacit approval of licensure. You have made up a false equivalency.

Heck most gay and lesbian couples I know have far better marriages than most straight couples I know.

They arent taxing the system, they arent taking anything away, they arent hurting this nation.

The far right believes that more people are being "persuaded" to make the "choice" to be gay because they see the greater expression of gay rights as celebrating it; whereas the far left thinks more people were gay all along than we thought and are willing to come out of the closet now because its less threatening to do so now than before.

And the rest of us, the great majority of the country, don't care.

I'm sure lawyers all over the country are all for legal marriage for any two people wanting to get married, no matter what gender. It opens the door for a huge increase in business when the divorce rate doubles. After all, in the eyes of the government it's strictly a legal contract.
