Bowers went out in 2 quarter today. Didn't play rest of game. Other then RB Edwards their offense didn't look all that specialNico should've went in after Joe's first drive in the 2nd half, but Heupel is clearly not moving from Joe. Just going to have to playcall in a way that doesn't put the game in Milton's hand. Running game and DL good enough to win every game on the schedule that isn't Bama/UGA... Not sure what's happen in those two. UGA with Bowers would leave me extremely unconfident.
I can guarantee you that nobody would complain about that.I still say Milton could have be perfect with 500 yards, 5 TDs and no interceptions and some of you would still find something negative to say about him.
Some of you would rather be right than to have the team, you supposedly support, win a game.
No they wouldn’t, you’re just reaching. If Milton ever has a game like that I will search all threads to see if someone posts something negative about the performance and say you were right.Yes they would. I can guarantee you some would say the success was because of the WRs or the other teams defense was bad.
You may have missed this but not every player coming out of high school gets rated a unanimous five-star. It has been nearly thirty years since we had a consensus five-star QB. In the meantime, multiple four-star QBs have played dramatically better for us as true freshmen than what Milton is doing. So yeah, he’s just another kid out of high school. And what are all of you basing the "Nico is great" on? He has yet to take any meaningful snaps in any game against an SEC team. Yes he was great in high school, but that is true of almost every player that is signed out of high school.

Yet it came down to the wire because we couldn't pull away. They're very good at run blocking. Most OLs are at least decent. Questionable in pass pro. I'm glad we won but I'd rather Nico get the luxury of an OL that won't get him killed by a backside 3 tech. Unfortunately the OL will be worse next year.I don’t care we just ran for 232 yards against one of the best run defenses in the country.
He may be a weak spot but our rypg suggests as a whole they are performing pretty well.Go back and watch Ollie Lane. Holding penalties, missed blocks, idiotic personal fouls, yet he’s started every game. The fact that they don’t bench him tells me they don’t have anyone that is better, and that’s pretty bad.
We are not winning a championship this year my friend. Let’s win as many as we can, appreciate what we got. This is light years better than Butch and Pruitt. We’ll get there eventuallyI really doubt there is anyone left who thinks Milton is the guy to get us any kind of championship. But, other than the very untimely INT he is a stabilizing force and when he does run can do damage with his legs. I guess my question is do we stick with his game management and just give up on the passing game realizing our WRs are not exactly world class either or do we go ahead and give Nico his chance? My honest opinion, while likely to be unpopular, is not to throw Nico into his first start at Tuscaloosa. Start Milton but have Nico ready if our passing game is as impotent as it was tonight. We could try the two QB thing too.
