3. The event was to raise money for trans rights/medical procedures. They're still going to raise and donate to it... just not with a drag show.

Obviously there's the context of the history of slavery separating the two issues, but I don't see how you can look at this picture and think that (at least some of the time) drag is anything but a man in an over the top and offensive woman costume, similar to blackface. Like, this is what you think women are? I can see the argument that it is offensive in some similar ways to blackface.

Those are state responsibilities (state roads and state crime labs) that they do not adequately fund because Shelby is a blue county...

Sell the county to MS for a dollar. It would immediately catapult our state upwards in crime and education rankings.

The first 3 miles of I-40 in Shelby County (crossing over from Arkansas) has more potholes than the next 400 miles of I-40 in the state. The city lost out on major distribution facility because of road conditions....

Shelby has its issues for sure but they are facing 4th and 15 dealing with Nashville....
