I am still on the fence about him but maybe if he does end up here he will do us a solid and return the favor to the barners. They in on any big time rb's for 14.

something to ponder reguarding tt. If he is owed 450k the next two years by auburn arent they going to be obligated to pay the difference less his salary here should we hire him? Provided no ncaa sanctions levied on him that would affect us it could be a very nice bargain while also giving auburn a big ole fu.

Much like CBJ has a checklist for possible recruits, I would bet he has one for possible coaches.

I seriously doubt "currently under NCAA investigation" is something he looks for via his list.

Yep. He can't hire anyone who earns more than Hart allowed him to pay his buds from Cinnci, which means it'll be a cheap hire. Also, he can't hire anyone who might have more fan appeal than himself, which means nobody most of us have ever heard of. So it'll be a no name, cheap hire. Whoopdefreakingdo! Can we just go ahead and give this guy his eight digit buyout and get serious about competing for SEC championship again, please!?!

As I posted earlier, a guy like Jemal Singleton makes alot of sense to me. He would be getting a 40-50,000.00 raise, he would be coaching in the SEC, and his resume proves he is a good RB coach. Of course Okie State could match the offer and he stays put. There are alot of capable RB coaches to be had for 200-260 grand a year.

It seems like we should be following Aubie's lead on Garner and moving someone who is already on the staff to RB since it's the easiest position to coach and finding ourselves a million dollar a year recruiting coordinator who can deliver the goods. I'm sure that CBJ does not want to foment discord in the staff but his guys are not qualified to recruit competitively in this conference. They need help and if he's half the coach some people claim he is then he knows it too.
