Man, I just hope we get someone with as impressive a resume as Zach Azzani. Maybe another guy who is close pals with Nick Saban or Urban Meyer (but who isn't wanted on their staff). Failing that, another mid major coach who once got fired from the SEC, provided we can give them a huge raise.
ever notice how these blogs start with the 'topic' however after a few hours were talking about rules of engagment etc.....
plenty of talent available for a rb's coach.....go get jerome bettis, marcus allen, terell davis, dave megget, blair thomas, christian okoye, ricky watters, tony dorsett, iron head hayward, thurman thomas, icky woods, jamal anderson (dirty vol?), priest holmes, roger craig......to just name a few guys that need work......
I knew i'd make u guys laugh with some of those names.....jamal could teach the dirty vol....epper:
He was in the big east. I'm so tired of his tied for a conference championship being something. Did he win his conference? Yes, but by a technicality. Secondly, did he play in his conference BCS game? No. He may have a banner that says conference champion but he surely wasn't an actual conference champion. To act like he is a world beater is absurd because we really don't know anything to know that. Hell the one game he coached against a big team, he got popped hard by Florida.
hahahhahahha... all the cincy staff did was WIN. Can't argue with that!!!
Funny how people dog this staff when the haven't seen a down of football with these coaches. Continuity of ignorance on VN LOVE IT!
He never coached against Florida. Brian Kelly was the coach that season, took the HC job at ND and Kelly's OC, Jeff Quinn coached the bowl game vs Florida.
However, speaking of Florida, they got drilled by the same Louisville team that took overtime (and almost gave it away on a botched FG in the rain) to beat Butch and Cincy.
Many of you may doubt Roy Manning. But he's our guy. Great recruiter and someone the players can definitely relate to. Helped lead Cincinnati to #1 rushing offense his first year as running backs coach. Also led Michigan to 11-2 record with Sugar Bowl victory as O line and running back coach. Go Big Orange
