Socialism Fails Everytime ...

Bullshot.........if you think those Titans were universally and always admired you're nuts.
Much of what they did was admired, when greed took them to far with some of their decisions, they were rightfully called out.

No they were not "universally and always admired" Je$us Christ has never been "universally admired". If that is your standard then there has never been a person on earth that's met it.

I did notice you completely sidestepped the discussion of how they built this country and we should be grateful for what they did.

Ah yes, I agree. But what if 1 of them had the know how and ability to build a desalinization system that produced a gallon per day. Does that guy deserve a bigger "share" of the water?
And it this scenario, greed would be for the one with a gun to say, "I have the gun, I'll drink as much of the water as I wish."

That's because they did not build this country. They played a role and did it on the backs of tens of thousands of others, sometimes to their advantage, and sometimes to their detriment.

Without their vision and capitol those 10s of thousands wouldn't have gotten a paycheck enabling them to feed their families.

The one with the gun would be the government.
And that would be an example of a government doing something horribly bad.
It could be a CEO, and that would be an example of a CEO doing something horribly bad.

They can be and often are equally despicable or equally admirable.

Sure they would have. Someone else would have stepped in or they would have found work elsewhere.

Greed is simply the desire for more. Not “more than your fair share”.

Neither you nor I know how to calculate our “fair share”. So if we desire more money, property, food, anything, that desire is greed.
Not necessarily. If more means enough to live on, that's not greed.

The government, every government is the one with the gun. Taking what it wants from the people because it can. No CEO can just take with impunity.

Sure they can. You just talked about the great Titans being what allowed someone to feed their family from the good ole company store.

If you can’t define it, is it okay to assume that you have personally exceeded your fair share and by doing so are in fact “greedy”?
I haven't intentionally taken what rightfully should be someone else's. I'd say I'm not greedy. It's a subjective call.

Yes, another greedy person would have stepped in an made their fortune building this country off the backs of their labor.
Wouldn't necessarily be a greedy person. I have no clue why you make that assumption.

So Bezos is not greedy. Nor is Elon, Gates, or Buffet. Because none of them have been convicted of robbery/theft.

Is that your standard?

But what is "enough to live on"?
It depends on circumstances. We can also say fair market value for labor, use of resources, etc. Merriam Webster says greed's an 'excessive' desire for more than is needed. Excessive is open to interpretation.

That's because few thing are black and white. A bunch of you guys tend to try and see everything as black or white, in two-dimensions.
I realized early on in the political form the concept of continuums needed to be driven home.....because therein lies most everything.

It's like this, is it wrong for an older guy to have sexual relations with a younger woman?
65 and 50?
50 and 40?
40 and 30?
30 and 20?
30 and 18?
30 and 15?
18 and 17?
18 and 16?
18 and 14?
14 and 13?
14 and 12?
It's not wrong until it is, and the gap between right and wrong is full of shades of grey.
And how does “girls mature faster than boys” factor?
