Nope. Fulmer got Lazy but I feel like he would be a better fit and less of a Gamble than Strong.

Strong is a Mediocre Recruiter in a less than Mediocre Conference. I couldn't care less about him if he gets hired.

I was kidding, but we are not a top ten program.

We're not because we have allowed continued mediocrity. We have a serious inferiority complex here.

Tennessee, while not the most talent rich state, is within striking distance of a lot of great talent. We've been a national brand that could recruit California, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and Florida in our heyday. We make the right hire at coach, and we could recruit those areas again. We have facilities that are second to none. We have a great, if dysfunctional fanbase. The money is only not there because our AD has made some terrible choices, it's not because our program is bereft of incoming revenue. The coach is the missing element.

So give us a name of who YOU want. Obviously if we could snap our fingers and get any coach we wanted, we would hire Saban or everyone's almighty Gruden, but that is not the case. CCS is a great hire amongst the coaches we are considering
