You people and your "we are Tennessee" song and dance, stop with the false sense of entitlement. We haven't dont s hit in years. We are what we are currently are not what we were in '98. Accept it. We would be damn lucky to pull CCS. He is a winner and I would be honored to call him my coach.

Dooley was a minor position coach.. no comparison IMHO

If we want to be a factor in the SEC the University has to get serious about a head football coach.

I just wonder how many would actually want to see him fail just so they could say I told you so.

He would not have been my first choice, but then again I'm not an athletic director trying to actually hire a football coach. I'm just a guy who watches football and loves his alma mater.

It will all blow over. By the time spring practice gets here, most of the folks will be back on the wagon.

I just wish all these wise, all knowing fans who say we shouldn't settle for mediocrity would inform us, the lost, who should UT hire. I, like you, don't want mediocrity but feel that with the coaches who apparently are available is the best choice.

I'd love to see Gruden here (soon). For arguments sake let's assume that we can't (not won't, but can't) agree to his terms or that he really does not want to get into the college game ... I was curious as to who Gramps thought was better, available and wants to come.
