I know they are going for the Frank Miller look with Batman but Affleck's jaw is not proportional to his neck at all.

I think I figured out what's bothered me so much about this trailer..

It's Henry Cavill. Specifically the scene at the end of the trailer when Cavill tells Affleck to bury the bat. It's just horrible acting. I think I've come to the decision that Cavill is the worst Superman so far. Add to that Zack Snyder will find some way to screw this film up too. Give me Joss Whedon or the Russo brothers any day doing comic movies.

I agree about Snyder.

Sadly I think he really is a comic fan so his heart is in the right place.

If your heart is in it but your skills as a director aren't up to par then you should bow out so as not to destroy the franchise with shoddy work.

I think I'll pass on this one. I'm just not interested in seeing Batman "Afflacting" on screen for almost 3 hours. I'll wait until it's at Red Box.

I'm sure he thinks his skills are good enough. Obviously WB/DC thinks so as well.

This was priceless simply a masterpiece. The ending is amazing with where Jimmy lands.

I'll be getting superman and batman cereal as collector items of what will likely be a epic movie.
I've tried the Superman cereal its decent. Next is the batman chocolate cereal.

New images shown of the omega sign along with parademons. It's very obvious this is a omen for Darkseid is going to be the main villain in the Justice League movie.
Freakin excellent that also the parademons will be appearing first time ever on the big screen. I don’t doubt Superman, wonder woman and Batman will all be fighting them.

First reactions to early screenings are hitting the net and its very positive!

A few things of note...

A number are saying that Ben Affleck's Batman is the best on-screen version yet!

That he along with Gal Gadot & Eisenberg are some of the highlights of the film every-time they are on screen. Gadot's Wonder Woman got the biggest cheers of the night!

Now the controversial part! There is a number of people saying its the best superhero film since Avengers and even others saying it could go down as the best superhero film of all-time!


I'm planning on going Saturday and can't wait!!

The Zack Snyder film represented 90 percent of the company’s ticket sales for the upcoming weekend

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is Fandango’s top pre-selling superhero film ever, beating previous record holders, “The Dark Knight Rises” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

According to Fandango, “Batman v Superman” represented more than 90 percent of the company’s ticket sales for the weekend.

“Batman v Superman” stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in the roles of Batman and Superman, respectively, and sees Batman leading a crusade against Superman, driven by the belief that the Kryptonian is too powerful to be trusted.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the movie’s cast also includes Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Superman’s girlfriend Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Superman’s Earth mom Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Daily Planet editor Perry White, and Holly Hunter as a crusading anti-Superman U.S. senator.

“The Dark Knight Rises” went on to gross $448 million domestically, while “Avengers: Age of Ultron” earned $459 million since its May 2015 debut.

8.5/10 is a really good review. Not Avengers or Guardians of the Galaxy or even Deadpool good (Deadpool being the first legit R rated superhero movie and the character being so difficult to translate well definitely gets extra points.) 8.5 puts it up there with the original Spiderman and the good X men movies. I'll pay to watch that, especially if Jesse Eisenberg is half as good as everyone says after so many didn't want him to have this role.

Rotten Tomatoes has is it at 42% so far. It may climb a good bit above 50% but no way it gets anywhere near the rating Avengers, GotG, or even Wimter Soldier.

A week or so ago the editor at Heroic Hollywood said expect bad reviews even if the film is good because there is an effort now in some circles to put superhero films down!

If you look less at the overall rating and more at the company's the reviewers work for and who voted it Fresh or Rotten!

Forbes voted it Fresh and Rotten? Lots of fan reviews say it's a stinker, so I don't think it's just publications with an agenda. The consensus seems to be that Affleck does a great job and everyone else not so much.

There are always critics that will not like the genre but I think a conspiracy theory that critics are colluding to vote down comic book movies is a bit far fetched. Especially when Deadpool got an 84% score.

I guarantee Civil War will get a 80%+ rating out of the gate.

FWIW BvS has now dipped to 39%.
