so that tribe in the Amazon I made reference to earlier is damned simply because they have never encountered someone from the outside world and thus never learned about Christianity

I keep hearing about how the Christian God is supposed to be this benevolent, kind being. Instead, he comes off as a wrathful, petty, petulant child holding a book of matches maliciously eying his green, plastic army men.

Mormons don't believe in original sin. But a lot of Christians deny Mormons the "Christian" label.
