let's quit pretending that Pearl is the only coach to ever do anything wrong.

I don't support Pearl lying and would be just fine if he left the UT today.

why? im not saying its an excuse.

That's exactly what you're using it as. Don't kid yourself. The fact is not all coaches get the schools that employ them hammered by the NCAA. Pearl has. He deserves any consequences that come his way. This "everybody lies" stuff is pure garbage.

you're telling me that Pearl is most unethical coach in the entire NCAA?

currently coaching? Who do you think the NCAA views as more unethical at this moment?

you know what, I'm ok with him bending rules to recruit and am probably ok with him misleading investigators up to a point. There's still a couple of things that just really get me on this thing

1) report the secondary violation and no harm comes to UT or CBP's career

2) once you're dead to rights just throw up your hands and surrender. Very little harm comes to UT or CBP's career at that point

do either of those things and we are discussing tourney seeds and the thread about violations is buried 3 pages into this forum. Instead CBP chose the worst possible option and we know how that's worked out

I can't argue that.
