Texas A&M coming to the SEC????

dude that is pretty weak and lame, what because they have the winning edge of late. Well looks like tide is about to turn. All teams have their up's and downs. If we go by your logic then your bama team of the 90's to mid 2000's was our little beyatch of a brother then

I'm not talking about records or head-to-head results. UF is the most popular team in that state, and has been even when FSU has a great run.

The Legislature will point out that leaving for the SEC will impact the economies of Austin, Lubbuck and Waco. The Mayors of each town will cry the same.

Did the mayors of Houston and Fort Worth get a say when the SWC folded?

They just moved regents meeting to this monday. Agenda conference allignment.

You really think PJ will ban you because you don't agree with him? I beg to differ. Best I can tell I have never gotten along with him, and I'm still here.

It was more the tone of the post I replied to.

In all seriousness, how much will one game every 2 years affect the local economies? And will the game not be replaced withsome else?

Quick update from A&M's side. A&M called a Board of Regents meeting for Monday to discuss the SEC. also, the SEC is having a Presidents meeting on Sunday. Things are starting to heat up very quickly over here in Aggieland.

Baylor got a free meal ticket in the Big12. Congress is out until 2013. Baylor will soon be in CUSA where they belong. :dance2:

Actually LaTech will be in CUSA replacing Coguar High if your BOR has the nads to make the jump.

Which school in those cities had a mayor that attended those schools? The only SWC school that was left out that has political clout would be SMU (Dallas) but that death penalty thing took them out of the picture.

Texags.com crashed briefly when the news came out for the BOR rescheduled meeting.

Yea, now the only question is, who will be the other team or teams. I still think it could be more teams from the Big 9.

Seems likely. If that's the case, probably either mizzou or double down the state Texas (Texas tech)

Can't see anyone else likely as part of a just 1 team deal
