He’s been properly rated for quite awhile…very highly.

He reminds me a lot of David Shaw at Stanford early on. Would make sense to make jump to bigger school with resources but stays put.

I think Whittingham would crush it at bigger school.

It'd make no sense for him to move now. He's coached at Utah in some capacity since 1994 and is 64. I doubt he's primarily motivated by money; if he was, he would/could have left Utah a long time ago. The amount of BS you have to put up with at a place like A&M is incredible.

I do think Stoops has hit his ceiling and is now at the stage of his career where he’s gonna start shopping around. A&M would be a great opportunity for him.

If my memory isn’t failing me, I think we talked to Whittingham before hiring Doofus Dickey. And as I recall, Whittingham wanted no part of the SEC then. Can’t imagine he would now either. Unless $9 or $10 million a year speaks to him.

Whittingham and Stoops are both "builders".

Quite frankly, hire either one of them and the Aggies will be doing good to go to a bowl for a few years.

I'm not so sure the A&M fanbase is going to sit still for a few seasons. Quite frankly, they lose to Texas next year and the entire school may implode. Most of the Aggie fans I know have been in either denial or an existential crisis since they learned of the Longhorns joining anyway.

A&M screwed up already by not moving on from Jimbo after last season.

They didn’t learn a lesson with Jimbo? Hard to believe they would hire that overrated goof. All that money and they continue to wallow in mediocrity.
