I will also point you to this post that I made back in MARCH where I said we wouldn't get Scroggins. I should have stuck with my gut, but one tends to believe the coaches when they say they're going to land a guy and that's exactly the information that I was relayed.

Admittedly, it may first appear to be a random comment. As it followed one of the many posts in which you chide, berate, downgrade, mock or otherwise attempt to nullify someone else's opinion which doesn't happen to be agreeable with your own, it really wasn't.

Simply, you have a pesky habit of wanting everyong to think that you're the smartest guy in the room.

You're not.

My examples were merely "proof".

I don't care how "smart" you or anyone else thinks I am. I post my feelings and my opinion. If someone posts something that is contrary to my what I believe to be the truth, I will point it out.

You've got some "pesky" annoying posting habits yourself and shouldn't be the one to be spouting off at the mouth. Your posts weren't proof of anything but a bias toward myself. I explained why I felt the way I felt and why I turned out to be incorrect. Why don't you go and pull out the myriad of posts that I have made that were spot on? I'm right way more than I'm wrong. Your post does nothing to argue that.

Since we're playing the guessing game....I'm not saying this kid is a "Big Fish", but his last name is......I saw an article that said Joe Montana's son was leaving Notre Dame.

That's Nate Montana and he's playing ball at a community college in California this fall. Trust me, he is no "big fish" by any means.

That son was a walk on. If we didn't even offer Nick, who was actually being recruited by some schools, why would we take his lower rated brother? His brother was a walk on to ND, I doubt we would take him IMHO.

I saw that, too. But he is expected to be back at ND in the Spring, IIRC he's going to some community college in Cali just for this Fall..

It would have to be a transfer who was granted his release and it wasn't announced. It's possible, although I'm not sure how likely it is. Overall, I think we're all reaching because there isn't a high school kid or a transfer that makes a lot of sense.

For all you guys thinking its Heaps, Hendrex, Brunetti, or some other QB in this class your wrong. The rumor said transfer, not someone decomitting from somewhere else. These QBs arent even enrolled or better yet signed that you keep mentioning. So they cant technically be called transfers. It would have to be a QB already enrolled with an University. They rumor also said he would be coming in this year but would be eligible for 2010. So that means he is already enrolled at another University. Besides no one from this years QB class would be called a "Big Fish."

In all honestly, I believe that they are talking about Lamaison. Too many things point to it. If it is a transfer, we will see or possibly they turned someone. I think it's just a bad rumor to this point. If something was going to happen, there's no reason that it wouldn't have happened by now.

The audio said transfer. The rumor from the coaches did nothing to suggest that. They just ran with the idea that it could be a transfer guy, I think. Most are of the feeling, I believe, that it is a HS recruit they are referring to.

Lamaison would make the most sense. Remember, the Lamaison deal has been hush hush by the coaches and Lamaison himself. There was a reason for this. Now that we have missed out on Scroggins, they are probably going to unveil the secret and make it official. My guess is it's Lamaison.

Guys you are obviously missing the fact that Lamaison was already announced when this rumor came about and was perpetuated. The ones that are spinning this over at TOS have adamantly stated that it is not Lamaison, he was already in the fold.
