all of this sounds great but It has nothing to do with winning. He is a choke artist and has always choked with the game on the line.

Did you not see the holding call that lost them the game against the skins?

That said I honestly don't think Romo and Phillips are the duo to get it done. They are good enough to win a playoff game or maybe two but it's not a question of if Romo chokes it away but when. But I root for them because they are what I have.

My only other viable option is rooting for the Seachickens and I just couldn't.

Yeah I saw the game. I understand how easy it is to blame a loss of a close game on the last play but, there are 60 minutes to win the game and you really should think about the entire game and not just the last play. Besides, if Romo wasn't a walking panic attack and just stayed inside the pocket it'd be much easier to block for him.

That said I honestly don't think Romo and Phillips are the duo to get it done. They are good enough to win a playoff game or maybe two but it's not a question of if Romo chokes it away but when. But I root for them because they are what I have.

I look at that as a "what came first, the chicken or the egg" type statement. My opinion is that Romo has to run around because he's getting killed in the pocket, but does he get killed cause he's running or does he run because he's getting killed?

I agree that sometimes he would need to scramble because of poor blocking but every NFL QB has to deal with that. Being a QB is all about footwork. You need to be able to slide laterally step forward or step backward to avoid the D without taking your eyes off your recievers. Everytime he scrambles he has to re-adjust his focus on his recievers.

I was just posting facts my man, considering you called me a homer for saying Dallas has had one of the best passing offenses since Romo has started.

I don't know exactly how you can say Romo is a choke artist. I know he f'd up on the field goal in Seattle in 06, but he has actually led a lot of 4th quarter comebacks.
Two weeks ago, he had the boys in position for the win if not for the hold, after driving 70 yards in the last 2 minutes.
I'd like the find Romo's career stats in the 4th quarter of tight games,to maybe put this in perspective.

Choke artist may be a little harsh but IMO Dallas has every all the tools to win except Romo. If Dallas had Rivers, Rogers, or even E. Manning they would have a serious chance to win a title.

I wondered when that would be brought up. I think that Giants team was better than any team the Cowboys have had lately... I dunno, Eli and Romo each show flashes of lovely football, especially when the receiver Eli picks before the play happens to be open :)
