The evil of Replacement Theory

Watching this Netflix doc Father about the fertility doctor who used his own sperm to inseminate an insane amount of patients...one of the theories for his motivation is that he was a part of the quiverfull movement, which is pretty in line with RT. Kind of a funny coincidence that this was released at the same time this is becoming a story.

Hard to proclaim any Christian ideology is to blame for impregnating these women against their will.

What serious policy proposals are the GOP offering up on these incidents? (Hint: thoughts and prayers are not policy proposals. )
1) quit spending so much money 2) approve more drilling permits and the Keystone pipeline 3) quit defunding and handicapping police 4) get government the heck out of the way on everything else
How’s that for proposals? Give it a try and see what happens

Huh? Read it again. Or listen to his comments. He literally says the Dems are replacing white people with people of color.

Any intent on admitting you were wrong here? It's possible you just read an article about what was said so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt if you actually have the integrity to accept you were wrong.

Otherwise you're just outright lying.

That's true, but the two go handing hand in these planned, mass shootings. The theoretical separation between the two issues blurs significantly in this context.
Why are you not concerned about the black on black crime in Chicago and other cities? That is a much bigger problem

So the relative percentage of whites in America ISN’T decreasing? Is that your claim? Pease elaborate

Not just specifically black, no. Pulse Nightclub was anti homosexual. Others have been anti Hispanic.

Point is, if we are going to allow susceptible people to be escalated in their hate to the point they'd do this, we need to recognize that in the ease with which such folks can arm themselves like this, to accomplish so much death in such little time.

Sounds like we should have some sort of nationwide BGC system and laws that bar the mentally ill and felons from buying/possessing firearms. Someone should pass a law.

Based on his OP and that post it seems he wants outright restrictions on speech. The ability to first declare the truth conspiracy and then to regulate the dissemination of truth

Of course he does, he doesn't want any speech he disagrees with being put out.

I thought red flag laws were the answer. Why didn’t that work? Because every time we give up a title freedom to give the left the tools they say will solve “gun violence”, they refuse to enforce them and then ask or more when the next shooting inevitably occurs.

Illegal immigrants don't vote. Latest polling is that legal immigrants and Hispanics generally are tending Republican. That fact is conveniently ignored in the conspiracy theory.

Again, it's about generating views and clicks by fomenting distrust and anxiety.

Imagine how many would vote Republican if Republicans were embracing them.

Republicans don't embrace legal immigrants? Seems inaccurate.

What do you call clamping down on legal pathways? Trump's own administration's numbers showed we were short 1m workers and he still decided to reduce legal pathways to immigrants.

I'm not saying Republicans are dicks to legal immigrants who are already here. I'm saying they are constantly trying to oppose legal immigration.

This may be a policy I’m unaware of. Can you tell me more about the pathways that were reduced

you started a thread to blame GOP leaders and Tucker Carlson for causing this shooting to happen. if their comments motivate this violence then you have to acknowledge that the words of Rachel Maddow caused the congressional baseball shooting, that the words of various media pundits and Dem leaders caused the shooting of officers in Dallas, that the words of the same people caused the guy to drive a truck through the Christmas parade, etc. but you never acknowledge that. truth is these explanations are BS - it isn't these people that are causing these unstable people to do what they do.

so to my original point - the response to this shooting has been a full-throated attack on political enemies; to label them as the "cause" of these incidents and use that in a cynical ploy to win elections rather than campaigning on how they are going to fix the big issues.

if they cared about people being escalated in their hate to the point where they'd do this they'd step back and look at all the divisive talk that comes from ALL SIDES - instead, it's a one-way street. Hard to see that as a sincere effort to address the issue as opposed to an opportunistic effort to win votes and attack opponents.

Let's be clear: 95 % of the blame here belongs on the shooter.

But let's also be clear that we are seeing a pattern here of promotion of these meta-theories that susceptible people are taking in and acting on. And its a problem, in no small part because despite the fact that we see such garbage routinely spewed out, we never seem to see an acknowledgment from the likes of Carlson as to the need to tone things down a bit. If anything, they become defiant and spew it more.

You're wanting Carlson to acknowledge saying things that you lied about him saying? Seems odd.

Its been posted. He touted replacement theory, clear as day.

And then when called out on it, he denied saying what he is on tape saying.

And now he just keeps referring to this shooter as mentally ill. No attribution at all to his racial motive.

That's what makes Carlson so pathetic. He portrays himself as a thinker, as a deep analyst. In reality, he engages in nothing but speculation, hyperbole, and amateurish psychology.

Still ignoring the fact that you lied about what he said? At least pretend to have some integrity.

As long as you realize and admit that garbage is spewed out equally from all sides. ALL sides need to stop making excuses for the extremists haters that happen to share their political views.

Yes.

Apparently you read at a second grade level. Have you been tested?

Read the article again slowly.

LG at no point in the video you sent did he even use the word "white" or phrase "people of color".

So...once again....would you like to amend your previous statement or just continue being dishonest? I'm trying to give you an out here. It's possible you just read a bad article or saw a dumb tweet making a false claim.
