A push or better is a net win considering the disarray in the House of Democrat.

My opinion is only political junkies and the R base care about the convention anyway.

The longer the Cheatle/Mayorkas story stays top of mind, the better for the Rs.

The next tangent will be connecting HSAs failure in leading SS to HSA failure's on the border....

Expect the Rs to position 7/13 as top down failure vs bottoms up failure..

I think Trump often benefits from having low expectations. He gets a pass for a lot of things that a more conventional politician wouldn't - such as being inarticulate. However, even by Trump's standards, he repeated himself a lot during that speech with his usual monotone cadence

It ain't over. I don't underestimate the left's willingness to vote for whomever the elite put in front of them, and I don't underestimate the ability for the Republicans to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

If Democrats were smart, they would insist that Biden drop out and replace him with a young and moderate Democrat from a deep red state, such as Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. It won't happen though.
