The Great Labor Force Debate

I read it. You simply dodged the question of where the line between skilled and unskilled lies.

Nonsense; that is as succinctly and clearly as it can be stated. The size of the pool with those skills or lack thereof, and demand for them, determines their value. If your tasks can be done with an elementary school education or anyone off the street who can move their limbs, you have unskilled labor. Even if you're hot-damned fast at stocking shelves.

But then, you know this and being coy because You decide every day whether someone is skilled or unskilled by enforcing their wage via patronizing the business employing them. And you're okay with that except when arguing a point no one is making.

You are talking about value or market pay rate more than skilled vs. unskilled.

Truck drivers make good money. Labor shortage. But most people can drive. Skilled or unskilled?

And you guys still can't win the argument. Must be a sad life you and others live by bringing up this topic out of the blue.
Basic business 101, basic Economics 101, the dictionary, the Wall Street journal, and every boss, owner and CEO are all on one side and understand the concepts and terms of unskilled and skilled labor. They are on the side of actual reality and everyday language.

There is no “debate” here. You simply refuse to acknowledge this because of your irrational projections of emotions due to your own insecurities

That’s an extreme position but you refuse to own it. Much like your other comments about executing doctors and nurses. Extremism
I just did own it. I never backed away from saying that and believing that right now. This country hasn't shown me anything in the last two years to make me think that cops coming in to take our guns and force a jab on us it not within the realm of possibility. Is it more likely in a blue state to happen? Sure. But you being a red state oathbreaker doesn't give me much hope that these red state LEOs would follow behind the blue states over a certain period of time.

If you are replaceable by a machine does that mean you're unskilled labor?

Yes, of course; if your skills have no demand, you are unskilled and can't make a living at a nonexistent occupation. You can acquire new skills or perhaps transfer skills to another position, or take an unskilled position with demand.

A virtuoso pan flutist trying to break into a rock band and on welfare, is unskilled labor.
There can be only one Jethro Tull.

Just stop. I’ve never once “broken my oath” to the Constitution and you even saying that sounds like a sovereign citizen type dumbass. You constantly preach this conspiracy theory BS and make up extreme end of world scenarios mixed in with even more extreme vile crap. This is why you can’t be taken seriously along with your vast hypocrisy on Putin and Russia. No one is coming for your guns Ras and no police are gonna hold you down at gunpoint and force you to get a vaccine in the arm.

You trying to come for my guns Ras? 😂
I live by the simple philosophy of don't bother me and I won't bother you. That goes for most of my domestic positions and foreign policy positions.

You, on the other hand, want to use force and aggression to move people in the direction that you want to move them in. That is why you went into law enforcement and that is why you chose to pursue a career in management. You take pleasure in the control of people.

This is interesting. You seem to be stating that the same set of skills can deemed both skilled and unskilled depending upon the marketplace. Am I reading that correctly?

Did you see the comment someone made about how they could just get 10 people off the street and they could be a CNA in an hour? Would you care to correct them on this?
You're talking about a disagreement over a specific job. Not that there are skilled and unskilled jobs. You have yet to acknowledge that.

Ok and a quick search gave me this. I'm not inclined to really disagree...

CNA Job Description, Qualifications and Outlook - Job Descriptions WIKI
Did you see in that link you posted that the certification process is 4 to 12 weeks? Therefore you can't just train someone in a day. You actually have to be certified and renew your license every 24 months. Surely you're not going to contribute with these guys and insult the CNA profession like that.
Mr VP Ricky liked that post. If he was a real VP in Healthcare he wouldn't be liking posts made by people insulting that profession. He didn't bother to correct them either. He should have corrected the poster.

Lol don’t bother me. I bet the Ukraine citizens getting shot by invading Russians think that too.

I don’t bother you. I’ve never arrested someone illegally or violated their civil rights. I’ve never tried to “control” anyone except managing criminals and stupid people to fix situations from getting worse OR managing people to the best of their abilities to get outcomes and goals desired. this isnt control it’s called leadership and authority. yOU don’t like any type of authority and I get that but you are part of a society and you can do what you want as long as it doesn’t affect others.

I don’t love controlling anyone. I worked hard and provided for my family and have saved dozens of lives directly and indirectly. I’ve also made a nice living to do what I want. It’s not control it’s freedom because I made the right decisions in life and worked hard at it.

I read it and read the job description. Most of the tasks described are not very difficult.

From my experience in IT what they say you need for a cert and what you actually need are usually not the same. Most really want you to just take the class from them

Hey genius. There are contracted agencies I could pick up the phone and have 10 CNAS today. That’s not an insult. 🙄 you literally take everything as an insult. Did some rich guy treat you bad when you waited tables? You really are they insecure?

Some of these guys are unbelievable. They've gone from insulting restaurant workers to people working in the medical profession. How pathetic some of them really are.

Wow. You really a loser just like Ricky. I guess go back to hating Trump and go find that true conservative you are looking for.
The name-calling really helps emphasize your point. Well done

The post said "they can be performing the duties of a CNA" that day. Do you disagree that there are duties on that list that take little to no training?

And you didn't bother corrected that person that you can't just bring people off the street and train them in an hour to be a CNA. A VP in healthcare would know this. You really are pathetic.

4 to 12 weeks of training is not little to no training. If it's such an easy job then you go do it. Anyways. I'm done talking with pathetic people such as yourself. Go waste your time elsewhere.
