The Oakland A's- MLB's ACTUAL AAA team

Carter had a rough, rough go of it. I am a grant green fan, but he might just be Cliff Pennington replayed... I don't think he'll really rake in the majors. Prove me wrong though.

Pitching is there

Maybe if Beane decides to take a winning approach to baseball, he'll trade some of extra pitching and MiLBers for some bats. The AL West will be wide open once again next year, although the Rangers will be tough.

They will be tough but we'll see. I wonder what they'll do with Feliz

I'm more optimistic about winning the West this year than I have been in quite some time. Not even cautious about it. I like this team. Great pitching and while not flashy, they did do a good bit of improvement to that miserable offense. Let's go Oaktown! Gotta love the green and gold!

Well that sucks. Felix pitched a gem and that's not surprising. Letting the M's score that many runs on our bullpen scares me.

Jake Fox still with A's? He is by far the nicest player I've ever met. Hope he has a ton of success.

Tied for first in the AL West and those yellow alternate jerseys are sick. I'm on record as describing how much I can't stand people wearing jerseys, but those almost make me want to change my mind. The A's starting pitching staff is top notch. Another great performance by Gio last night.

Colon just pitched a four-hit shutout against the A's.

ouch Freak, that hurts. A Braves/Twinkies fan digs up my Oakland thread just to rub that in?

Flicked on the sports station earlier today to hear them talking A's to Portland. wth?

They've been moved to every city near the Pacific Coast the past three years in order to get a stadium. I still think they wind up in Fremont or San Jose, they are just throwing other cities out there to try and make something happen.

I dunno if I buy San Jose... Last time I was there, seemed to be pretty entrenched Giants territory.

Fremont I might buy.

I don't have much to brag about with our anemic offense, but I'm pointing again how much I like these yellow jerseys:
