Gray is scared (and falling to the left causing him to lose command). Add that the lineup isn't working pitches, this could get ugly.

Why do you carry three catchers into the postseason only to start the same one all five games despite said catcher barely hitting above .200? One dramatic blooper doesn't equate to getting all the time when base runners are such a premium.

We're never going to win it all. This sucks. Idk man, but Melvin needs to look himself in the mirror. It was a platoon thing. The taking pitchers out too late thing is an issue still.

Pitching was only an issue for one game. Getting base runners was an issue all series long. How long can our low payroll hang onto this core group? The minor league system is EMPTY right now.

3 years maximum. We couldn't do crap against verlander again. I bet people get traded.

Coco has a 2014 option and the only other FA's I know of are Balfour and Bartolo. We might be able to keep all three, but Balfour will be a little pricey.

Balfour will be gone unless he just Loves being in Oakland. When Verlander is going like that and getting some calls it's over.

I can't argue that but if you're Melvin, don't spout off about how good Norris is off the bench if you're going to keep trotting out Vogt who was lost all series when he was swinging the bat. Norris is pretty good behind the plate, but if you're worried about him, use him as the pinch hitter and put Suzuki behind the plate for the remainder of the game.
