The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

And after.. Decided to add a bit of orange since it's going to be the gun I carry while I hunt and.. Let's face it.. I bleed orange.

I think it turned out very well. Thoughts?

Maybe it's just the computer I'm on, but that does look more like foliage green rather than OD.

Not a slight, just an observation.

It is lighter. My original plan was to go darker, almost hunter green. While looking through paint I noticed an "Italian olive" that stood out to me. I like how is almost a mix between OD and DE.

Looks more like the military foliage green.

I like that color scheme myself. Maxpedition does a nice foliage/khaki blend that actually works pretty well in the woods.

Yea.. I really couldn't have asked for a better result. All in all in happy with the krylon so far.

Anyone had problems with a Glock 42 loading hollow points? It seems like they're catching on the ramp and then the slide suddenly feeds one, but there is a little hesitation. Doesn't do it with Winchester white box. Also, seems to be more severe when using the mag with the pinky extension (possibly because that's the mag I leave in the gun when carrying). Thoughts?

Are you sure it's catching on the feed ramp and not the mag? How many rounds do you have through it? Slide spring could be weak. Or maybe something to do with the mag itself. I'd check to make sure nothing is catching the round on the mag add it loads. Just try sliding a round out of the mag with your thumb and see if anything is catching. Other than that... Give glock a call.

When reading reviews on the 43 I saw some comparisons to the 42. One of the things mentioned was that the 43 shot everything it was fed with no issues, while the 42 seems to be more finicky.

I just noticed last night the can of paint I have is that color. It might show up different because my base color was khaki.

This is the first time i'd be ordering something online that has to be shipped to an FFL. Called a few places. Found D and J general store near my house does it for 20 bucks. So I think that's who in going to use.

That's a very fair price.
