It will be interesting to see if Coach Heupel does evolve. If not, he'll not stay in the SEC, IMO.I said after the Oklahoma game that even if Heupel loses us a game with dumb decisions, I'm sold on him , and that hasn't changed. This loss was as much if not more on him than anyone else , because he choked. The pressure of being highly ranked and having suspect play at qb and Oline got to him and he coached scared and prayed things would just work out I guess. It got him beat , so now I'm interested to see if he changes his tendencies, knowing that fate is not gonna bail him out. If he's smart , he'll shake off that fear of losing **** and coach to win . I still have faith in this team and staff , but they know what they have now and can't go into turtle mode hoping for breaks to go their way.
Exactly, great learning lesson today. Heupel needs to rally the guys to clean up all the worthless unnecessary penalties, and play better. Still alot of ball left to play, and the SEC is still wide open considering all the top teams have a loss now besides TexasThis is true. Remember the special teams ran into the punter which kept a drive alive. Then our defense didn't stop them and Arky got 3 out of it.
Coaching deserving all the criticism. A complete moron would try to defend that garbage. So fans should just not be critical because it could’ve been Vandy instead? I’ll say it again. If you are going to get upset at fans criticizing the game, heupels playcalling, Nicos play, etc. Then you should just log off. Because there is plenty of legitimate criticism
Nope, Tennessee just blew a 14-3 lead, against a mediocre SEC team on the road, in what should have been a very winnable game to continue to lay the foundation for a special season, obviously not happening with this team as shown tonight, Heuple looked like Foolmer out there tonight, taking the air off the ball, zero offensive big play threats, the same dysfunction that presented itself against South Carolina two years ago showed up again tonight, coming out of an off week, not sure why this complete breakdown occurs on the road in significant games, but it
