how come nobody involved with the situation really cares about it? yet it gets all of your panties in a nice, tight wad? and the writers? well, they just need something to write. we all know that game.
it must suck to be sick with envy over another program.
My boss is a great guy. Retired Air Force and genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever met. His only problem is he's a Gator fan. Fortunately he's old blood Gator and remembers the long dark days of when they sucked, so he's not one for trash talking and stays humble about his team. The deal with Spikes has really set him off. He's lost all respect he ever had for Meyer and he says he'll let me burn one of his Gator caps and take pictures of it that he will send to the Florida AD in protest. Granted it won't mean much, but he is disgusted at the way his team has handled the situation and says "these are not my Gators anymore."
Also said he hopes Bama beats the piss out of them in the championship game.

Coach Urban Meyer had received negative attention for being too lenient after an incident involving Spikes during Saturday's game against Georgia.
Spikes said he doesn't want to be a distraction to his teammates. Meyer said he supports Spikes' decision.
Meyer suspended Spikes on Monday for the first half of Saturdays game against Vanderbilt for sticking his hand inside the helmet of Georgia running back Washaun Ealey after a tackle.
