Braves need to get it together down the stretch with the Phillies coming up soon! :good: Gotta take 2 of 3 from them. September is the month for all the in-division games. Braves also need to win 2 of 3 from Washington and take the series from the Mets and Marlins. Don't know the number of exact games they have left with each team. Braves need to win 2 out of every 3 for September.

man-o-man that first one went a long way!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was thinking after that was hit, just how far would it had went if it was at wrigley or Coors Field
Braves have a 4.5 game lead now in the division, i feel that if they can win 3 out of 4 from the nationals we have it locked up :jawdrop:

Think the Braves have 8 games left with DC-hopefully win 6 of 8 and also have to watch out for the Phillies. They have a tough time with Philly. Just gotta have a 6-7 game edge with 8 games left to go. Hopefully Braves will win 90. :good: Andruw's first shot yesterday was "AWESOME!" :good: :eek:k: :thumbsup:

Andruw with the WALK-OFF! We split the series with the Nats, but are still in the driver seat in the East. The bullpen is going to have to learn how to pitch tho.

did you see that catch by the kid in the crowd off of that andruw walk off! i think that andruw will bat .278 with 50 homeruns and 127 RBIs :yahoo: MVP

Leads the NL in HR's and RBI's and hitting in the .270's. :thumbsup:
Also is tied for the league in game winning RBI's.

How about Franceour in the putout against the Mets? How about the Braves outfield? Probably have the top two outfielders in MLB-Franceour and Andruw Jones. :thumbsup: Franceour is tied with the most assist in the NL with 11. Hits for average, good power and a fantastic arm! :thumbsup: At the end of this week put a lock on the NL East for the Braves. :thumbsup:

Smoltz out duels Pedro! :bow: Way to go JOHN! :good: Braves have 7 games left with Philly. By the end of next week, the door will be shut for the NL East title. Of course, did we "hardfast Braves fans" think we would win another title this season? :dunno: I thought early on in the season that the Marlins would be the team to beat for the NL East. Just hope our Bravos can win the NL pennant. :good: GO BRAVES!!!!

Braves take on Washington Nationals for 3 games starting today. Hoping that the Braves can take 2 out of 3. Smoltz is scheduled to pitch on Sunday. Am hoping the Jones' boys can put the hurt on the Nats! :thumbsup:
After this weekend here is what the Nats will be doing. :mf_surrender:

Braves lost first of three at RFK 8-6 after leading 6-3. Just don't understand Bobby at times. He'll bring in a reliever and leave him in after he's given up a couple of runs to have the score tied( :bad: ) then continues to leave him in and lose the lead and the game. :shakehead: Does that make any sense? :dunno: Sure hope the Braves win the next two-especially on Sunday with Smokin' Smoltz pitching and going for his 15th win. John could still get 17 wins. Could have 20 already. Think he has 6 no decisions.

Braves win tonight 4-0..and yea, A jones hit another homer!!...47 now and also ties franchise record.

braves had a little scare...Bullpen blew it going into the 9th once again and braves were down 7-6..but a 2 run homer by Chipper and a solo homer by Andruw put the braves up 9-7 and they won!!..2 homer game for A Jones.
