Probably because the staff knew the opponents tendencies and era. Obviously it didn't work. And I agree we haven't really had a take approach all year. Not sure why we changed
Probably more accurate then if you had a degree….View attachment 647172
This is gonna either hit or pass just north of the stadium by 5:15pm. Then there's a 2-3 hour gap before the next rain patch. But that's totally armchair, me looking at the radar.
Whatever happens tonight just know it has been one hell of a ride. Great memories and life long friends. I am sure the nerves are getting to you as a parent a little bit. I would be nervous as hell for my kids in this situation even if they have been there before. Sometimes the Fandom can be a little much to read through on here, however I wanted to say that I have appreciated reading your posts over the last few years. Kirby has been a class act and if tonight is the last time we get to see him as a player, I believe he gave his all and it has been a privilege to watch him play.I
I agree but if we don’t play hard all nine this could be the last for mine. I know it will come, but just hoped it was in Omaha. But either way, it has been one unbelievably fantastic journey.
Yes we would have. An SEC team with a top 25-30 RPI and 13 SEC wins is NOT getting left out of the NCAAT. We got in in 2019 with a losing SEC record and finished 16-19 vs Q1 teams, UF is currently 18-19 in Q1 games. Now I’ll wait for you to tell me how the difference between 13-17 and 14-16 in the SEC is a massive difference.Keep sticking up for Florida. Doesn’t matter they have made a run now. They didn’t deserve to get in. I guess Florida automatically deserves a spot in the CFP in football due to their SOS too? You know good and well we wouldn’t have made the tournament with their record regardless of SOS. They have representation on the selection committee. That’s why they got it. Why didn’t Ole Miss get in? They had the 2nd ranked SOS and very similar record and RPI. Oh yeah they didn’t have someone on the inside. Nothing but politics whenever they select these teams. They knew what schedule they had before the season and were picked to WIN the East. They didn’t win enough games to get in and finished 13-18 vs SEC competition. I don’t care what they are doing now.
This right here. Makes me a little misty to know this is Kirbys last ride in LNS. He personifies everything that's good in college athletics. Don't let it end tonight, GBO!!I

At least our RPI in 2019 was 14th. Florida was fringe top 30. Big difference there. And I would have been perfectly fine had they left us out in 2019. I’m a firm believer that the bare minimum expectation for the NCAAT is finishing .500 in conference games. And Florida actually went 13-18 if you include the SECT. 5 games under .500 in conference should never be allowed in. If Florida goes and wins the whole thing they won’t even be a 40-win team. That’s embarrassing. We are just rewarding mediocrity now.Yes we would have. An SEC team with a top 25-30 RPI and 13 SEC wins is NOT getting left out of the NCAAT. Ole Miss also had a losing record overall which renders them ineligible for an at large bid. Since the tournament has expanded, EVERY SEC team with 14 wins has made it in, slightly more than 50% of the 13 win teams have made it in and one 12 win team has made it in.Yes we would have. Ole Miss went 11-19 in the conference and 11-20 vs Q1 that’s not remotely the same. Ole Miss doesn’t have series wins over #3 AM and #7 UGA and LSU on the road.
