It’s FSU’s version of the Bartman incident. It could’ve gone either way but they still gave up more hits to lose—AND their coach made the mistake of pitching to a guy who had batted the cycle. Don’t even give CMO the opportunity for double. Look in the mirror.

Bartman and Buckner, both blown out of proportion - everyone forgets the opportunities missed to put the game away before and after those iconic situations.

This was the right call by the ump, in real time no less. You don’t want to be the guy to end the game on a call like that - the very definition of a 50:50 call.
