Looks like McDaniels is indeed heading to Indy and that Pat Schumer will accept the Giants job if offered those were the two big named offensive guys. I really hope we didn't wait too late like we did when we hired Whisenhunt.

We should have fired the entire coaching staff after Week 17!






And offered Josh McDaniels an ownership stake in the team!

Not to upset with missing on any of guys before we hired Mularkey but I really wish we go back in time and hire Zimmer instead of Whisenhunt. I was all in on Zimmer at the time.

Helfrich just took the OC job at Chicago. I wouldn't think MM's philosophy would mesh with Helfrich's schemes, but if the primary goal was to scheme around MM8 then that could have worked.

Would be interesting. I am still stunned Adam Strunk had the balls to do this. Very Un-Titans like.

Since she has a pair of big balls, i would make a big offer to get Pete Carroll. Just on tax savings and schedule alone, he’d be lightyears ahead of the other 3 AFC South coaches. Seattle ain’t necessarily a picnic anymore.

Jim Bob would be great. They could make one of those special sections at Nissan Stadium and call it The Cooter Corner. And sell fish sticks.

This is what amazes me about the ineptitude GM’s and athletic directors today. Even though the Titans can’t legally talk to McDaniels because he’s in the AFC title game, Robinson should have said his Presser when asked about candidates :

“I know it’s rumored that I’m very close with McDaniels and it’s likely he’s getting a head coaching gig soon. His record would be great for what Tennessee needs to make the next step to contend for championships. To be able to take that step would require a big investment in the next staff and I’m willing to invest 7-9 million per year for our next head coach”

You think McDaniels would redirect his plane from Indy to Nashville?

NFL coaching contracts are easy to workout in the NFL if you fire a coach. Totally different than college where big contracts can cripple a program.
Would totally do that in a heartbeat. Amazing how small the balls are on AD’s and GM’s these days.

Two "retread" guys as well. Would prefer Schumer myself if it were our choice to make.

Definitely not worried ab it being a Whisenhunt type hire.

Trust Robinson is fully capable of making a good hire. And the franchise is in a great place for a new hire in comparison to several years ago.
