Or that the camera tightens up Blue's act. 😂

I will say that Blue was really after us early on Saturday in Hattiesburg, but I thought later that day and on Sunday they did a pretty good job.

If the umpires insist on having some say in the strike zone, then before the game let 'em set the rectangle where they want it. But there it stays 'til the game's over!

I agree. There have been many times this year I go “WTF”! Now, granted the angle at LNS is poor but there have been some REALLY tight strike zones this year IMO.

They also will run statcast via espn. They did during WCWS, anyway. Describes pitch, speed and graphic of location.

Well yes in a way. The slicing off an edge can be confusing depending on angle of view. You can’t fool the computers, but you can sure as hell fool the umpire. Hence, framing as a metric.

Truthfully this will not effect the umps just piss off fan bases more lol...All umps have their own definition of the strike zone when their behind home plate.Some give a little inside and outside and some up and down as fans we will have to just deal with it and the players need to adjust.

There is already a web site/ twitter account that scores the *MLB* umpires. I would imagine they will grade the CWS if the data is available.

Back in the spring my boy wanted to get a ball signed by Rhett Lowder. He signed it, talked to my boy a little and was an extremely nice young man. With that said, get him smashed!! The kid is a baller.

The wife taught a while at the high school Rhett attended. She never had him in class, though there were plenty of Lowders there, but she says he had a reputation as a good kid. She wishes him well, and hopes we destroy Wake. Her dad and brother are Wake grads, so that is more reason to want to beat them.

After the game….do it all in reverse 😂

I mean, until this point I’ve rooted for Wake, just because my son met several of them, they all interacted with him and came across as good kids(just from a brief first appearance)
