I mean, until this point I’ve rooted for Wake, just because my son met several of them, they all interacted with him and came across as good kids(just from a brief first appearance)

Maybe ESPN will devote a "fact checker" to compiling how many bad strikezone calls each team's pitchers get, so fanbases won't have to argue over who got screwed the most. Maybe call the statistic "Balls Verified Strikes"

...or BVS for short.

Well yes in a way. The slicing off an edge can be confusing depending on angle of view. You can’t fool the computers, but you can sure as hell fool the umpire. Hence, framing as a metric.

They also don’t count pitches slicing the strike zone against the umpires. I think they give them half a ball diameter on either side of the volume.
