The Perfect Sorm: Coming 2012

Whatever, you two can sit there and give eachother reach arounds all night trying to prove me wrong, but we will see how reliable they are this upcoming draft. I'll be sure to post the results.
Of course it will be close to accurate. So is every other mock draft posted 10 minutes before the damn thing starts. That's like picking the winner of the NCAA Tournament with 8 minutes to go in the final. If you show me their current 2011 projections match what happens in June '11, I'll respect them. Otherwise, they're just a bunch of guys selling pop up ads.

When are people going to give up on the ridiculous "Will Scotty Leave Early?" speculation? It's like watching Vincent Yarbrough 2: Soft Swingman Sequel.

When is hatEvol gonna ever say anything positive about any Vol team. The only compliment i have ever see him pass was that he immensly enjoyed Steve Spurriers barbs toward us and other teams. Makes one question his allegiances.

I don't know when it was written. Does it matter? The fact that they ever called Ogilvy a first round draft pick speaks for itself.

It didn't say 1st round pick. It says 1st round CALIBER. Way to try and twist it to help your cause though.

Did you even read the article YOU posted?

There's no difference, man. Ogilvy has never, ever been first round caliber. He isn't now, he wasn't then. Nor was anyone on that list other than Patterson. It's not difficult to understand. They were just flat out wrong.

After his soph season he looked as though he could be a future 1st rounder. But he never developed into that. That's why they don't have him being drafted either.

Whatever i'm tired of this arguement. After this years draft we'll see the results.

Ranrad, just pack it in already. Find another thread. This is getting pathetic...

Way to disappear for 6 pages, then pop in like you had anything to do with the debate.

At least Law and Hat contributed something.

The site may be wrong on their Hopson status. We shall see. I'm not afraid to end up being wrong.

I never said Hopson deserved to be 1st round in the mock. I said Draftexpress was a site that, after following for the last couple years, has been pretty accurate on there mocks. And I still think that.

Take down their 2011 projections right now. Then, pull them out on Draft night June of '11. Their projections will be slightly more accurate than throwing a bunch of names into a hat.

I agree. This is obvious as evidenced from their pathetic projection of many of this year's SEC seniors when they were underclassman.

I just saw a page that had draft express, nbadraft.net, and espns picks all side by side for the 09 draft. They were all pretty much the same give or take a few slots.

Nobody gets even half the picks right because 1 wrong one throws the whole mock off.

But, their evaluations along with their mocks are what makes me like them.

They put these 3 side by side because they are the most reliable. If you can put out a more reliable site then go for it.

Would the official NBA website show this sites picks if it were as completely unreliable as you say?

I'll wait for an explanation.

They post their final projections 10 minutes before the Draft. What does that prove? Nothing. Anyone with access to a computer can do that.

Are you always this dense? You acted like these clowns are the internet version of Red Auerbach, talking about how they "get paid" to evaluate players. I explained how they actually make their money, then said you should check their current 2011 projections against what actually happens. You continue to be fascinated by the accuracy of predictions made 10 minutes made before the Draft starts. That's fine. I simply find that about as impressive as someone giving me the winning Powerball numbers two days after the drawing.
