4 mile "recovery" run after my half day at work yesterday. Planning for a long one tomorrow...

Don't know the total, but just got back from 4 more. Anyone know our chi squared?

I stood on a pressure pad that showed I have a "med arch" and tend to put more pressure on the outside of my feet. I tried on several different asics shoes. the 250s(?) felt the best. They seemed to form to my feet the best.

Does anyone here run with a custom fit orthotic? My doc says I need one. $330.00 a pair with a lifetime gurantee.

Brick workout. Ran 2 miles after mountain biking 10 miles.

Counting kiddiedocs miles run total = 47.5 miles

alot of runners have orthotics, though alot of current research is wishy washy on them. while they may cause benefit for one body part, they alter your biomechanics and can cause compensation problems somewhere up the chain (knee/hip/back etc)

that makes sense. It sucks that I'm going though all this crap just to try and stay actice. Oh well. Gotta keep on keepin on...

I used some for a while for "fallen arches". They hurt my lower back and better fitting shoes have made my feet feel great. I do get all of my runners arch adjusted to fit.
