The Runner's thread

I've started to run in the mornings due to work. I hate it. I need to rethink my hydration and nutrition.

My nutrition sucks right now. Mostly eating at work stuff. I think I am the type that runs to eat. Because after I run I just wanna pig out. Its probably me being thirsty and not legitimate hunger.
 
Great work.

I finished up with 116.5 miles and burned 16,050 calories. Mind you, I plan to consume 17,000 calories in beer and chicken tenders at the Indy 500 in may.

I thought it was the turkey legs Nerd??!?!

I always have to have a brat with hot sauce!!

You would probably be surprised how much nutriton can effect your running. I can tell a big difference personally when I eat like crap how I feel during my runs and afterwards too.

My food intake choices is unchanged. What I am struggling with is trying not to over eat or under eat before that morning run.
 
4.2 in 36 minutes today. Long hours at work the last few weeks has made finding time to run tough.
 
I have a bunch of friends that just finished 50 and 100 mile trail races. I can't even begin to fathom that.
 
Ran 3.25 in roughly 33 minutes. I am trying to get ready for the PRR. Last time was 1:03:00 so I am going for under an hour this time around. The plan is to work my way up to 6 miles by the end of April.
