The Runner's thread

I think I should be healed/rested enough to start running again, but I've felt like crap all day. And this is the worst time of year for my allergies.

I hate taking time off. Feels like I'm losing huge amounts of progress every day.

It sucks to take time off but sometimes it a necessary evil.

4 miles after work yesterday. Wind was blowing so it wasn't too bad but we went from winter to summer with pretty much no spring in between.

Yeah, a friend joked with me about how there was no way she could run at 6:30 am. It was 72 degrees then, it will be in the 90s by noon. I'll gladly run early to avoid that heat.

Gettin' that time to either run in the mornings before the sun comes up or in the evenings after it goes down.

4.5 miles today. Ready to rest tomorrow. Felt good til I started! Just didn't have it today. Did take a new route/trail that I had never been on and really liked it. Will definitely revisit.

Apparently I have plantar fasciitis. I picked up some kinesio tape for tomorrow's trail run. Have any of you used it to treat this specifically?
