So let me try to understand this. A millenial (not sure why you chose that, but let's roll with it) comes into my place of work and tells ME to shut up and work, etc etc...If a millennial came to your place of employment and had the attitude that you should "shut up and work" and "dance monkey, dance", I'm sure the thought that he/she is entitled would never cross your mind.

Not that I necessarily agree with his post, but do you view professional sports as anything other than entertainment?
I don't need to read a f*****g book. I was there back in the day, when you weren't even thought of yet. You only know what someone wanted you to know about back in the day.
Try to be more consistent in your professed convictions and you may not come off so poorly. The last few posts have been rough.
Entertainment, sure, but not a vehicle for dehumanization. The view that they're robots built to entertain me, and any sign of opinion or emotion or humanity is "entitlement," is both backwards and (as others have mentioned) hilariously hypocritical.

1) Why should I expect a member of the most entitled generation ever to do that? and
2) What is your point?
meh. I don't GAF about any professional athlete's social opinions any more than I do what Hollywood has to say.Entertainment, sure, but not a vehicle for dehumanization. No it isnt. Sports are entertainment. Nothing more. There is no intrinsic benefit to society other than entertainment. And telling them to stfu and play is not dehumanizing. What a damn reach. And were being the snowflakes here?!
