Obama never said anything this stupid though: "if they can't stand for the national anthem, then they need to get out of the country".....is Trump really that stupid? Yes

I’d say that the NFL is still more widely watched than the college games. I just don’t have a team in the league that I give 2 shots about. I can’t sit for 2+ hours watching a game where I don’t care who wins.

I think it's an important distinction.

We have the 1st amendment because we value free speech.

We should be concerned about a POTUS who seeks to suppress speech, whether he does it illegally or through demagoguery.

The most damning part of that video is he made excuses for the alt right protesters in Charlotte, where there was actual violence. He's certain their ranks are filled with "good people" while the NFL players who are peacefully protesting are "sons of *****es" and we cannot tolerate their methods.

Donald's showing his true colors and/or exploiting America's true color.

Once again another spin on what he said.

“... MAYBE you shouldn't be in the country."

It’s context was not at all meant to be literal, it was simply a way of making a point...that if you don’t respect the flag and the Anthem then MAYBE you should leave if you’re repressed and life is so terrible.

Like he literally meant kick them out of the country for not standing during the national anthem...lol good ole’ unhinged progressives and the click bait headlines that fuel them. :eek:lol::eek:lol:

The NFL game is becoming boring... The real violence is being removed slowly....People used to want to watch player get crushed on plays and now we review tackles to see if it was proper

I’m not a fan of the needless crushing hits, they miss more than they make. I prefer watching proper technique and if they can lay the wood with head up and wrapping all the better. I however don’t like all the rules protecting the QBs.

Beat me to it again. Betting on the games helps with interest, but I quit that a long time ago. I no longer watch, but I haven't really watched the pro game in years.

The real reason most people say this is because college athletes are not paid. That has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the sport or how hard they play, but don't try convincing them of that.
