The Thread Where People Argue About Kneeling in the NFL (merged)

Football players. Let's protest the oppression of minorities, then go home and beat our wives and gfs.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but before Kap started kneeling wasn't he wanting to be traded, then after not being traded he started kneeling. So basically all of this is because a player didn't want to be in San Fran and starts kneeling hoping that will get him on a different team?

This board really needs a correlation/causation lesson. Just because two things both happen doesn’t mean one happened because of the other.

I can write a post and then it starts raining, that doesn’t mean it started raining because of my post on VN

Trump said he is thinking about having all of the NFL players who do not respect the flag enough to stand during the National Anthem to give him names of people they know who have been wronged by the system and he will think about pardoning them. He then extended it to the NBA. Trump has the pardoning bug....big time. But this might actually be a good thing from Trump.

I think he likes it because it's the closest type of king-like power he can exercise. Plus, he gets these pardoned people fawning over his magnanimity, which flatters his ego. As our conservative brethren would say, it's all about Donny's "feelz". Plus, it gives him refuge from all the MSM meanies making him feel sad and grumpy.

He has the power to authorize drone strikes that kill people. I think that ranks slightly ahead of pardoning people on the power scale.

He talked about how great Alice was and how happy Alice and her family were, and all the tears that Alice was shedding, and how when Alice ran from the van it was one of the greatest things ever. Trump loves Alice.

Not sure I get this Photoshop job

It’s Kap in what appears to be a non regulated Army issue Kevlar helmet about to storm Omaha beach with the 2nd Rangers.

Edit: The 49th Rangers.

Shortly after this, he was NJP’d and was looking for a spot in the Reserves or possibly joining the Canadian Special Forces.

Where as the other actively tries to hold them back? I'd say they're fvcked either way. And really when you think about it, we are all pretty fvcked so maybe we've achieved racial equality.

Don't mean to highjack the thread, but I'm heading down to Clearwater in the morning and I didn't write down the names of the places the locals go for seafood and etc. that you gave me before. can you help a brother out CV?

Wahoos - Local Dive in N. Redington Beach - Best Ahi around. Order off the special board. Place is a dive but you won't find fresher food anywhere. Service is sometimes slow, but food is good. Not pricey

Salt Rock Grill - Nice, great wine list. Pricey. It's in Indian Shores. Make reservations.

Island Way Grill - Owned by same folks that own Salt Rock. In Clearwater. Make reservations.

Frenchys in Clearwater. There are about 6 of them, but I prefer Frenchys Rockaway location on Clearwater Beach. It is on the beach. Food is pretty good. She Crab soup is the sh!t. Not super expensive.

Shephards Beach Resort has a good beach bar. The party there usually goes until the wee hours.

Crabby Bills is always packed, but the locals view it as the McDonalds of seafood. I will go to drink and watch the entertainment, but outside of the oysters on the halfshell I don't eat there.

If you want to get a great steak Charleys or Berns in Tampa. Although Salt Rock has a kick a$$ steak as well.

Cuban Food - Go to Columbia on Gulf blvd.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

If you are going to be drinking utilize Free Beach Ride. No charge, but they work for cash tips... or uber. Do not use the trolley. You will hate yourself if you do...

Kill a terrorist, people will love you for a day. Free someone from prison, people will love you for a day, but that pardoned person (and likely their family) will love/worship you for the rest of their life/lives.

I wonder if the Rockets will go to the White House next year with LeBron?

Lots of Republican oil money going through that state. Maybe he’ll go to Philly... Or is playing where the Declaration of Independence signed by our Founding Fathers just a bit too racist because some of them might have been slave owners?

There are legitimate gripes against the president that don't pertain to race.

I know I wouldn't visit any POTUS of my lifetime. **** em all.
