I think that even in this hypothetical situation, if someone got bent out of shape because someone protested whatever during an MLK event and got their feathers ruffled, I would be just as critical of them for being triggered as I am about the right wing snowflakes that are being triggered over the flag/kneeling issue. He’s not protesting MLK. He’s been clear about this. Quit whining. His cause is now getting attention. Now we’re finally having the dialogue about the universities.
I wonder why you’re so interested. And am simply wondering why you are invested in This particular issue? And tums? Beer or no beer when your standing for the anthem?
Honestly, I'm wondering how the reporter that asked the question even knew Kaepernick was kneeling. The reporter's eyes should have been squarely focused on the flag, not on the sidelines. So the starting QB of an NFL team planned to silently protest something and figured no one would ask anything? Lol.
Our country has misplaced outrage. We have cops killing civilians at a ridiculous pace and cops interacting with the public far too often, yet most of you are concerned about who is standing or kneeling in the 2 minutes leading up to a football game.

I have stated on here several times what I believe is the solution to a lot of this, but police community outreach ain't necessarily a part of the solution.Do we? Also, community outreach has proven to be very effective in reducing crime and other incidents. Police should be interacting with the public more.
Yes it is. It absolutely is. It’s always worked before, then departments get away from it.I have stated on here several times what I believe is the solution to a lot of this, but police community outreach ain't necessarily a part of the solution.
What does it have to do with the military?
So, the flag has nothing to do with the military? It doesn't, people are listening to trump trying to tie the protesting to being anti-American. The idiots are getting caught up in that noise because thinking about the bigger picture requires effort.
Ironically, peaceful protesting is as American as apple pie.
So it does. That’s what I thought. What difference does it make? They aren't protesting the flag.
Super simple stuff.

Yes they are protesting the flag. That’s what they’re protesting.
Some are saying they’re protesting something else (By not actually protesting something else), others have no idea what they’re doing - they just want attention too. They’re little children.
No one can understand it for you.
No one can understand it for you.
I am not outraged at all by whats going on in the NFL. I think its ridiculous and nothing more than an attention getting scheme. But I still dont agree with your calling those who do freak out as snowflakes. This isnt the same as people freaking out over who became president. Its a complete different situation.I don't know you personally nor do I know your situation in life. But I am willing to bet $1 million that I don't have that you have far more important things for you to be outraged and concerned about in your day to day life than who is standing or kneeling the 2 minutes before a Sunday kids' game. That is what makes you a snowflake.
To an extent, you are correct. They are different.I am not outraged at all by whats going on in the NFL. I think its ridiculous and nothing more than an attention getting scheme. If the protesters didn’t want it tied to the military then they should have found something else to demonstrate aginst.
Almost nobody alive thinks of the police when they see the flag or hear the anthem.
