The Virginia Gov race

And the delusion is real among the “true believers”. The number of Twitter libs with the silly blue wave emoji is staggering. And many are still talking openly about how they are going to win all the big 2022 races. Just like Hitler spent his time up until the very end moving phantom armies around in his maps and talking about how he was still going to win the war, today’s Democrats still think that somehow passing a bill to spend more than 2 trillion dollars that don’t exist is somehow going to miraculously make Sleepy Joe suddenly popular again. They are sitting in their little Bunker still planning their little socialist utopia while their poll numbers plummet.

Evidently you just have to sell it as "trying to save America" and it's worthwhile spending. Just something I learned recently

The Democrats have to wait till the early results start trickling in so they know how many votes they will need to “find” in closets and poll workers’ car trunks. Standard Operating Procedure

It's starting to look like they might cheat again. They are expecting the winner might not be known until Friday.

New York Times: Energy for Glenn Youngkin 'more palpable' than McAuliffe as Virginia race comes to end

The Times wrote that while Youngkin attracted crowds of 'more than 1,000 people,' McAuliffe's crowds numbered between 30 to 100

The Times told the story of one traditionally Democratic voter who voiced his support for Youngkin by attending one of his rallies. He explained his tipping point as when, while working from home, he overheard his teenage daughter's teacher talk about White men being "modern-day slaveholders."

Literally in line with what I just witnessed with my own eyes.

Average age of the McAuliffe crowd was probably in the 60s too. Champagne Socialists at their finest!

"Generating enthusiasm has been difficult at times, which was evident on Saturday at a McAuliffe event in Chesapeake. When Mr. McAuliffe went to speak, the crowd yelled ‘Terry, Terry, Terry’ only after a campaign staffer started the chant to ramp up the energy in the room," The Times wrote, while also noting that Youngkin's larger crowds were "more diverse" than what they described as "typical" Republican events.

Judge Dismisses Lawsuit claiming Virginia county improperly accepted absentee ballot applications

A Virginia judge has dismissed a lawsuit claiming that Virginia’s most populous county improperly accepted applications for absentee ballots.

A lawsuit filed last week by the Virginia Institute for Public Policy said the Fairfax County Office of Elections accepted applications for absentee and mail-in ballots without the last four digits of applicants' Social Security numbers in violation of Virginia law.

Sorry but I must have missed where the McConnels, Grahams and Romney’s aren’t in charge and the party has become fiscally responsible.

No problem; I missed where you stated you were a single-issue voter, recognizing fiscal irresponsibility the only thing they're alike in.

McConnel is among the handful of congressional GOP I have most objection to, but same as Democrats? Hyperbole. Ditto, Graham but less objection to him when he got off the never-Trump train. Romney controls nothing. America-first Rs own the House GOP. There are still obstacles in the Senate. To ignore how both parties have been changed over two decades, four years - hell, even 10 months - requires lazy dedication to a narrative.
