Winsome said that it was important for people to "stop looking at race," and instead, just look "at people."

I don’t consider myself on the right or left…. I sit there and watch as they call the new governor of Virginia racist and the new black lieutenant governor as being adjacent to white supremacy…. It might not be the majority of the left that feel this way but the ones that do are very vocal about it.
