The Virginia Gov race

VolnJC, as I said previously, I'm not a gambler. I'm not sure that I am correctly interpreting this data. However, this would appear to me to be now indicating that it's considered almost a complete toss-up. That would be far more in-line with the recent polls.

Is that a correct interpretation?
I think you could call it that but I still would give McAuliffe the edge due to those that have already voted...will GOP and independents make it up Tuesday? Possibly depends on enthusiasm in non POTUS election year

The fact that McAuliffe has absolutely collapsed in the most recent polls indicates to me that there is strong support and momentum for his opponent. I think any assumed early voting lead has a real chance to be overcome. 2 weeks ago, I was similar to you in that I said I would believe it when I see it. I'm still not convinced of a Republican victory, but I now think there is a really solid chance.

...She was also selected by Biden so that the immediate alternative to Biden is SO bad that invoking the 25th Amendment has little to no appeal, even within his own party.
That’s why as soon as the Republicans retake the Congress is 2023, they will move to impeach her FIRST. The Senate will refuse to confirm any replacement for Harris as VP while they impeach Biden, making the Republican Speaker of the House (most likely McCarthy) President. The odds are tiny, but I think this is the gameplan

Here's the deal. I understand and would normally agree with the assumption that registered Democratic voters would ordinarily vote hugely in favor of a Democratic candidate. However, with this particular nutjob being an outspoken proponent of critical race theory and trying to marginalize parents' rights in the public educational system, I think all bets are off on this one. I've seen a lot of videos of Black parents in Virginia at school board meetings that are rightly incensed about the racist garbage (teaching their children that they are genetically inferior to white children) being pushed on their kids by these socialist morons. I anticipate that registered Democratic voters aren't going to break as heavily in McAuliffe's direction as a simple review of their party affiliation and voter history would indicate.

You know, from day one and “grillgate”, I am not sure that there has been a more amateurish and simply horrendous campaign in American history. If I were prone to belief in conspiracy theories, I could almost be convinced that McCauliffe was a Republican plant designed to throw the election (if not for the obvious fact that he was a previous Democrat governor). I mean, someone almost has to WORK HARD at being bad to reach this level of gross incompetence

Apparently you haven't noticed their array of other horrendous candidates.

That would be a terrible idea, if they did this I’d never support or vote for anyone associated with the Republican Party.

Might be the only way to save the country. BTW, you realize the Democrats impeached Trump TWICE, right? Once over a perfectly legal phone call, and the second time when he was already defeated and merely days away from leaving office, right? Are you now willing to never support THEM now?

Camden trying to say he wasn't there...unlocked his Twitter but turned off comments.

It's the educational system, period.
I don't know why people keep expressing disbelief even as their children are being turned under their noses.

Agree but as young as 13-14 y/o's cavorting on the streets last summer with antifa, blm, professional sjw's and democrat activists, operatives and politicians made it openly apparent.

It's a slap in the face, because you see it, I see it, everyone sees it and they'll rig the election anyway and he'll win with a "historical" number of votes.
Bingo. It’s a kabuki theatre. They’ll scrounge up what they need to win

I’ve never voted for a Dem in my life. And I want the Rs to be better than the Dems and quit trying to out Democrat them with childishness.

Impeach her on what basis? There is none. That Democrats staged two impeachments on nothing more than their radical majority in the House, is exactly why the Senate is there as a constitutional restraint upon that body in the scenario of impeachment. If Republicans also violate the constitution in that manner, then who the hell is left that gives a shite about about the constitutional republic? How does it even survive that?

So no, it is not the gameplan, this is Q talk. If Republicans were going to attempt entering the WH via anything other than an election, it would have been via the misbegotten speculation that the VP can unilaterally dismiss state electors. That was wrong and Trump was wrong to throw Pence under the bus with that idiocy.

They aren't, so no worries.
